Five weeks… I must have been nuts!

We have the greatest pre-nuptial agreement in the world.  It’s called love.

I may have quite a bit of time between posts because my life is crazy right now.

Huzzy and I are now married… and we did it in just five weeks. And it was gorgeous. Then we had a whirlwind of a honeymoon that included two days of travel and three days in Washington state. Those three days included a lot of business stuff like starting to search for houses and visiting the base, including Fleet and Family Services.

We did manage to take a day and a half to enjoy ourselves. We visited Pike’s Market and Huzzy surprised me with a trip to the beach in Northwest Washington. More details/pictures will surely follow.

Right now, we are in the middle of getting ready for the movers to pack up everything we own save for a suitcase or two. We have to get the house ready to put on the market.  And I have those pesky thank-you notes to finish. I hate that it’s already been 2 1/2 weeks and they aren’t out yet.

Did I mention that Huzzy is moving to Washington without me in a month?  Since I own a house in the the worst economy in the United States right now and haven’t yet found a job in Washington state, we have no other option. It totally sucks, but we’ll get through this. The first of what will be MANY absences.

Frazzled is a great word for how I feel right now.

  1. Hi Wifey!
Looks like I have to change your blog in my faves ;o)
Good luck with selling your house fast. We are thinking about moving more to the country, but will wait for the market to pick up. Maybe next year…

  2. Hi Wifey!

Sure you can add me to your list :) I don’t know what the rules are, but you can try (if you haven’t already) adding your house to a couple of military classified sites if it is close enough to a military base. There’s two that I know of:

Good luck with the move. We’re still recovering from ours!
