This is one of my favorite cruise videos! (Well, I suppose it’s not a cruise video if it’s not from the Navy, but “deployment video” doesn’t roll off the tongue as nicely.) For some motivational Navy amusement, VAW-116′s “Pump It” performance is unparalleled.
Anyway, I just found your blog in my daily Web wandering and I thought I’d say hello to a fellow Navy wife.
Yeah, I love that one too! That was actually my first Friday Funny because it’s my favorite too!
Over the course of my husband’s flight training, we’ve met a few of the people who starred in it. They’re good sports about it, but “Pump It” (Louder!) is going to follow them for the rest of their careers.
Well, if something in their past has to follow them everywhere, that video is much better to deal with than something really negative! I’m glad they are good sports.
I think it’d be hilarious to meet some of them.. and maybe I will (Reserve Officer, so maybe when I do my 2 weeks or if I’m deployed).
