New Meme: MilSpouse Friday Fill-ins

I love learning more about my fellow MilSpouse bloggers. So I’ve decided to create a weekly meme. It’s going to be something that I hope  a lot of MilSpouses join in. I really hope we can learn more about each other too.

The meme is going to be: MilSpouse Friday Fill-ins.  And when I say MilSpouse, I mean significant others, too!

Each week, I’ll post a list of questions on Thursday (so you can have your blog ready on Friday). This week is a bit different because I want to give people time to see this blog. Come back to my blog on Friday to see my answers to the questions and to also submit your blog to my Mr. Linky widget that day so others can see it as well!

I’ll be using this button… please feel free to use it yourself!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

This week’s questions are:

  1. How did you and your spouse/significant other meet?
  2. What is the best thing about being a MilSpouse?
  3. What is the hardest thing about being a MilSpouse?
  4. What is your favorite dish?
  5. If you could change one thing in this world, what would it be?

I can’t wait to read everyone’s responses. Don’t forget to post it for Friday and come back here to add yourself to Mr. Linky!

  4. I feel bad now, we’ve “talked” on twitter (@silvrstar), but I’m just now reading your blog for the first time. I hope you don’t mind, I’m going to do this today (Saturday) and in the future, I’ll try to remember and do this on Friday’s. Looks like fun!

  5. 1. How did you and your spouse/significant other meet?
I was introduced by a friend.
    2. What is the best thing about being a MilSpouse?
It makes me a stronger more independent person. Before the army I never could have seen myself being away from my hubby for more than an hour. Then he got stationed in Korea for his first duty station, leaving me to fin for myself in my parents house with our at the time 2 year old daughter.
    3. What is the hardest thing about being a MilSpouse?
I would say that you can’t give up or quit. No matter how bad the situation you are forced to find a way to live with it or solve it.
    4. What is your favorite dish?
Smothered Pork chops special recipe I use, and the hubby and his friends come running back and forth to the pot every time.
    5. If you could change one thing in this world, what would it be?
Poverty, or the economy but only if it would be a guarantee permanent change.
