First of all… don’t miss my flag giveaway… you can win a US flag or a flag of your service–it’s your choice! Check out the post below yesterday’s for more details.
I love learning more about my fellow MilSpouse bloggers. So I created a weekly meme. Each week, I’ll post a list of questions on Thursday (so you can have your blog ready on Friday). Come back here on Friday (like today!) and enter your blog post into Mr. Linky below so others know who else participated and we can all visit other blogs. Please leave a comment too! And please feel free to use the button above!
(Please forgive me if I can’t get to visit everyone’s blogs the next few weeks. I am having a hard time accessing my own blog from the Army Internet!)
I was going to feature one question suggested by MFF participants each week, but since you all came up with such great questionthe other week, I’m going to have to do more than one a week! This week’s questions are:
1. How do you spend your deployment money, do you save, pay off bills or enjoy the extra money while it is there to buy the things you do not normally have? (from Troop Petrie)
Our deployments are short, so not a lot of time for saving or anything. However, we do save and put extra money into the savings account. We will also give ourselves a bit more spending money than normal.
2. If you could relive one occasion or moment, what would it be? (from Currently On Land)
It would be the first few months I met Huzzy. I mean, if you’ve read my how-we-met story, you know I don’t exactly remember our first few weeks together much. And then, after a couple of months… I was in love. That was the best feeling in the world. Still is.
3. What’s the worst job you ever had and if it was so bad why did you take it? (from Faith and Deploying)
Well, it was working at W@lMart. And I didn’t know it was so bad until after I was working there for six months. And it was more the department manager than anything. And minimum wage. Incidentally, I believe I have mentioned that I’m not allowed to work there ever again. Ha!
5. If you could become the world’s expert in something, what would it be? (from Army of Two)
I would be the world’s expert in making money. Because I’d have enough to not have to be worried about it and then I could be a philanthropist… which I’ve always wanted to do!
Please don’t forget to add your blog link to Mr. Linky below by clicking on it. But also if you are not participating in MilSpouse Friday Fill-In this week, please do not put your link on there… I will remove it. It is unfair to others who do participate.
