Meal Planning #2

In my last post about meal planning, I was encouraged to continue posting my meal plans in order to help give others ideas. Things are going to be a bit different this time as I am going back to hard-core weight loss routine after the first. You’ll see that as much as I love my crockpot, I also love my Vitamix and use it often.

I know, I know… why not start it now? Why wait? I want to wait because 2014 is a new year. One in which I hope much better things will happen. I want to leave the old, fat me behind and start the year healthy. I need to finish hating this year (and my body) and then start it right the next.

We did pretty well with our last three week meal plan and only missed two nights of meals. So here’s my next three weeks of meal plans:

Sunday, December 29th: Baked Lemon Pasta
Monday 30th: Grilled Steaks with baked potatoes and veggies
Tuesday 31st: Eating out
Wednesday, January 1st: Homemade Enchiladas
Thursday 2nd: Vitamix Bacon Cheddar Potato Soup
Friday 3rd: Steak Kabobs
Saturday 4th: Crockpot Stuffed Green Peppers
Sunday 5th: Crockpot Chili
Monday 6th: Grilled Chicken and Rice
Tuesday 7th: Spaghetti Squash with Turkey Meatballs & Marinara
Wednesday 8th: Grilled Steaks
Thursday 9th: On own [I’m traveling]
Friday 10th: On own [I’m traveling]
Saturday 11th: On own [I’m traveling]
Sunday 12th: Qdoba [on the way home from the airport]
Monday 13th: Steak Kabobs
Tuesday 14th: Vitamix Black Bean Soup
Wednesday 15th: Crockpot Pasta Fagioli
Thursday 16th: On own [Huzzy is on duty]
Friday 17th: Vitamix Chicken Tortilla Soup
Saturday 18th: Breakfast Burritos (turkey ham, eggs, lettuce, & salsa)

So there you have it… the next three weeks of meals planned, including (mostly) healthy ones after the 1st of the year.

  2. I’ve heard such wonderful things about the Vitamix. Unfortunately, our blender’s still up and running, so I don’t know if I can justify getting one. Maybe for Christmas next year? thanks for joining the link-up!
